Decades of experience as a fashion designer provided Sean with a great eye for portraiture and figure painting. For his landscapes, Sean was fascinated with atmosphere and light, inspired by the impressionists and fauvists. Sean also liked to paint in a contemporary style.
Sean Mc Gibney’s Artistic Legacy
Sean exhibited his paintings on Merrion Square, Stephen’s Green and in a number of Dublin galleries. His paintings are on display in many many homes across Ireland and abroad.
